Life is returning to normal for flood-affected Eastern Cape residents.

In the Buffalo City Metro, the municipality says over a thousand displaced people are moving out of community halls they were sheltering in.

The concern, however, is the huge burden those who provide aid and shelter could face if communities continue to find themselves in flood hotspot areas.
