What’s new on Paramount+ in July 2024

Paramount+ doesn’t have any new shows in July that can compare with the June premieres of Mayor of Kingstown and Criminal Minds: Evolution, both of which will have new episodes throughout the month. But Paramount+ doesn’t call itself “a mountain of content” for no reason. The Mafia Spies docuseries should attract true crime lovers, while children of all ages can enjoy Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years.

Jessica Chastain and Peter Sarsgaard’s Memory is also arriving on Paramount+ this month after its short theatrical run in late 2023. Meanwhile, the music documentary miniseries, Melissa Etheridge: I’m Not Broken, will premiere on July 9. But before that arrives, there are plenty of fan-favorite movies to watch on July 1 including the Star Trek films, the Die Hard films, Identity, The Truman Show, and more.

Unfortunately, certain titles are only available on Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers. Keep that in mind when looking over our roundup of everything new on Paramount+ in July 2024. Trap trailer: Josh Hartnett’s serial killer plans his escape

In the latest trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s Trap, Josh Hartnett is a serial killer who must escape a pop concert, a staged event set up by the police to capture him.

While attending the concert with his daughter, Hartnett’s character notices the police gathering outside the arena. The police have staged a Lady Raven concert to capture “The Butcher,” the nickname given to Hartnett’s serial killer. With 300 cops, there is seemingly no way out. However, The Butcher begins plotting his escape by creating diversions and posing as an employee.

Everything leaving Netflix in July 2024

There’s good news for Netflix subscribers in July. Compared to many of the other months of the year, Netflix isn’t losing a lot of popular titles. But that’s not to say that some great movies aren’t going out the door when July comes to an end. Classics like American Graffiti, Smokey and the Bandit, and Fatal Attraction are all pulling away. The Matrix trilogy is also setting up shop on another streamer, but you can almost set your clock by how quickly those films will make the streaming rounds.

While not all of the departing movies are fan-favorites, it’s down to you to scan the list of impending Netflix departures and making your own viewing plans.
