ON Monday, 19 August former Miss SA 2018, Tamaryn Green-Nxumalo, celebrated her 30th birthday in style.
She made an extra special announcement and said she’s expecting her first child. In a heartwarming video, Tamaryn and her husband shared glimpses of their baby’s ultrasound photos.
The couple’s joy was evident as they embraced this exciting new chapter, with congratulatory messages flooding in from fans and loved ones.
Speaking to Daily Sun about her thoughts on becoming a first-time mum and what the future holds for her, Tamaryn said she’s looking forward to the firsts.
Expressing her excitement, Tamaryn said: “Celebrating my 30th birthday while expecting our first child feels incredibly special. It’s a milestone birthday and having this new life growing inside me adds a layer of joy and anticipation that makes it unforgettable. I feel so blessed to be starting this new decade with such an amazing gift on the way.”

Tamaryn shared memorable moments for her and her husband, Ze Nxumalo, during this pregnancy journey.
“There are two, the first when the stick turned positive, and I told my husband the news and the other the first time we heard our baby’s heartbeat. It was such an emotional and surreal experience,” stated Tamaryn.
The 30-year-old said as she prepares to become a first-time mum, she’s looking forward to creating beautiful memories.
“I’m most looking forward to all the firsts – first smiles, first steps, first words, and many firsts for me as well. I’m excited to love and nurture our child, guide them, and build a strong, loving family foundation.”

Looking ahead, Tamaryn mentioned that balancing motherhood with her career will certainly be a challenge, but she believes it’s all about finding the right balance and being flexible.
“I plan to prioritise my family while also staying true to my professional commitments. I’m fortunate to have a supportive partner and a great network that will help me navigate this new chapter.
“It’s about creating harmony between my personal and professional life, and I’m confident that, with time, I’ll find the rhythm that works best for us,” she concluded.
