ActionSA to back ANC plans to form Joburg government

JOHANNESBURG – ActionSA says it’s in talks with other political parties in a bid to stabilise governance in the City of Joburg and the City of Ekurhuleni.

The party says it will now work with the ANC in Joburg on condition Al Jama-ah’s Kabelo Gwamanda is removed as executive mayor.

It says service delivery has ground to a halt as a direct result of instability and poor coalition partners in these two Gauteng Metros.

Meanwhile, AL-Jama-ah leader Ganief Hendricks has come out in defence of Johannesburg Mayor Kabelo Gwamanda.
