Butter joins Kohli, Rohit in elite T20 WC list

Jos Buttler reached a major landmark during England’s T20 World Cup semi-final against India in the T20 World Cup

Buttler became the fourth batter to score 1000 runs in T20 World Cups

The other batters are Mahela Jayawardene, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma

Rohit also got to the landmark in the ongoing tournament as well

Buttler currently has 1013 runs from 31 matches at an average of 42.20 and a strike-rate of 147.23

Buttler did not have a great day in the semis on Thursday in Guyana

Buttler scored 23 runs before Axar Patel accounted for his wicket

England lost to India by 68 runs and crashed out of the tournament
