City Power confirms Blind Society’s R9m debt

JOHANNESBURG – City Power has confirmed that the Johannesburg Society for the Blind owes over R9-million to the utility.
City Power spokesperson Isaac Mangena says they informed the organisation of its outstanding debt over a long period of time.
They only cut the electricity supply in November last year, following their refusal to make payment arrangements.
