Dada Morero elected City of Johannesburg mayor, again

JOHANNESBURG – Sello Enoch ‘Dada’ Morero has been re-elected as the City of Johannesburg mayor.

Morero was previously mayor in 2022 where he held the position for 25 days.

He took up the position after the previous mayor, Kabelo Gwamanda resigned after a lot of pressure to step down.

Morero beat the DA’s Belinda Kayser-Echeozonjoku with 189 votes after she got 60 votes.
