Limpopo police have opened an inquest after human remains were discovered in a bush near an initiation school in Stocking Mbabalelo in the Sekhukhune district.
Police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba said initiates were gathering firewood when they came across human remains, which included a skull. Clothing was also found at the scene.
“[The clothing] included grey trousers, red jersey, grey socks, and grey traditional women’s outfit. It appears that the bones have been at the scene for an extended period,” he said.
