Strong winds and waves are expected in some regions, but there will be partly cloudy conditions for most of SA, according to the South African Weather Service.
Impact-based warnings
A Yellow Level 2 warning for damaging winds and waves, leading to difficulty in navigation at sea and small vessels at risk of taking on water and capsizing, is expected between Saldanha Bay and Kosi Bay.

Gauteng will be partly cloudy in the morning, otherwise fine and warm temperatures are forecast.

Fine conditions are expected in Mpumalanga’s west, otherwise it will be cloudy and cool to warm with drizzle along the escarpment.
Limpopo can expect fine and cool to warm conditions, becoming cloudy in the extreme east in the evening.
Partly cloudy conditions are forecast in the North West at first, otherwise it will be fine and cool but warm in the north-east.
The Free State will also be partly cloudy at first, otherwise fine and cool to cold temperatures are expected.
Morning fog patches are forecast in the west of the Northern Cape, otherwise it will be partly cloudy and very cold to cold, but cool temperatures are expected in the north.
It will become fine in the afternoon.
The wind along the coast will be a light to moderate south-easterly.
The Western Cape can expect cloudy conditions in the west and south-west, otherwise partly cloudy and cold temperatures are forecast, but it will be fine over the eastern interior with morning fog patches.
The wind along the coast will be a moderate to fresh north-westerly, but light south-easterly along the west coast.
The expected UVB sunburn index is low.
Partly cloudy conditions are expected in the Eastern Cape at first, becoming fine and cold, but it will be cool in places along the coast.
The wind along the coast will be a moderate to fresh south-westerly.
KwaZulu-Natal can expect cloudy and cool temperatures but it will be cold in places in central and western interior with isolated showers and light rain.
The wind along the coast will be a fresh to strong south-westerly, reaching a gale in places in the morning, becoming a light to moderate south-easterly in the afternoon but fresh in the extreme north at times.
The expected UVB sunburn index is moderate.
