She said:
It is with great sadness and a broken heart that I confirm that my son’s body was found where the boat was anchored. I want to thank each and every person for the messages, shares, connections and offers to help.
“They
were anchored [just north of Sami]. Very close to shore. He went for a swim and
didn’t get back on the boat. He loves exploring, so he could [have been]
on-shore and maybe got hurt on the rock. We don’t [know]. He didn’t tell anyone
he was going to shore. He was last seen in the water.
“He
was in a good mood and they were relaxed,” she said.
