News24 | Wednesday’s weather: Partly cloudy in some parts, with rain expected along the south and west coast

The South African Weather Service has forecast partly cloudy and cool conditions over the south-western interior, but isolated rain is expected along the south and west coast.

Gauteng will be fine and cool, but warm in the extreme north.

Fine and cool temperatures are expected in Mpumalanga, but it will be hot in the Lowveld.

Limpopo can expect fine and warm conditions, but it will be hot in places in the north.

The Free State will be fine and cold to cool.

Fine and cool to cold conditions are forecast in the Northern Cape, but it will be cloudy along the coast and adjacent interior.

The wind along the coast will be a light to moderate northerly to north-westerly.

The wind along the coast will be a moderate to fresh westerly to north-westerly, reaching strong along the south-west coast and south coast.

A light easterly to north-easterly wind is expected along the west coast from the afternoon, spreading in places along the south coast towards the evening.

The expected UVB sunburn index is low.

Cloudy and cool conditions are forecast for the western half of the Eastern Cape, with light showers along the coast and adjacent interior, but it will be partly cloudy and cold over the interior.

The wind along the coast will be a fresh to strong south-westerly.

The eastern half of the province will be partly cloudy and cool along the coast, otherwise it will be fine and cold over the interior.

The wind along the coast will be a fresh to strong south-westerly.

KwaZulu-Natal will have morning fog patches in places over the interior, otherwise it will be fine and cool, but warm in the north-east.

It will become partly cloudy in the afternoon, with isolated showers and rain along the coast.

The wind along the coast will be a moderate northerly to north-westerly, becoming a fresh to strong south-westerly from the south from mid-morning and spreading to the north by afternoon.
