Orlando Pirates striker Evidence Makgopa’s name is one that continues to generate interest from Europe the Siya crew has learnt.

Prior to joining Pirates from Baroka FC two seasons ago, Makgopa had received a formal offer from Denmark.
However, the move did not materialize for the lanky striker at the time, with the player sealing a move to the Soweto giants instead.
Despite a slow start at Pirates, Makgopa has managed to show his worth, both for the Buccaneers and for Bafana Bafana, where he was a key figure in their 2023 AFCON exploits.
As a result, interest continues to pour in for the player from within Europe.
The latest news reaching the Siya crew is that an unnamed Danish club have expressed their interest in Makgopa.
Siya sources have indicated that the club is yet to make a formal approach to Pirates – but is set to do so in the coming weeks.
A move to Europe did not come to fruition for Makgopa just yet – although it could happen should the club agree terms with Pirates.
