JAZZ artist and actor Mbuso Khoza is sad that he had to postpone his Ifa Lomkhono Tour in Durban.
The tour has been postponed until further notice.
Mbuso experienced health issues that affected his voice, forcing him to delay the tour originally scheduled for 3 July at Suncoast Barnyard in Durban.
“I had flu, a painful one. And I lost my voice. It was bad, really bad that I had to unfortunately postpone the tour,” Mbuso said.
He revealed that he contracted the flu during TV show shooting.
“It was cold from where we were shooting. So, I believe that’s where I caught the flu. But I’m feeling much better now and am completely healed.”
Mbuso has been organising the tour, which was scheduled to go all over Mzansi cities for months now. He said the aim is to entertain and interact with fans.

“I’m so sad that I had to postpone the Durban leg of the tour. I love my fans, they’re close to my heart. But they have to understand that health is also important. And I want to give them the best performance, I couldn’t perform with a not-so-good voice. So, I had to postpone it, as a show of respect. The tour isn’t cancelled, it’s still going to happen as my team and I are setting a new date,” he said.
Although the Durban show has been canned, Mbuso was able to perform at the at the Silverstar Casino on Saturday, 6 July.
He performed alongside his friend and jazz artist Nduduzo Makhathini.
