Chidinma gets dragged again
Chidinma Adetshina faces backlash for promoting a skin-bleaching product while contesting for Miss Universe Nigeria.
Social media users have been keen on the model’s journey in the pageant as she had gained fame for participating in the Miss South Africa competition but withdrew.
Upon contesting for the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant, Chidinma joined other contestants in promoting a skin-bleaching product that is believed to be in partnership with the pageant.
Famous South African Twitter user, and entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela expressed his disappointment in the viral photos featuring the SA-born model.
“Yah ne … Chidimma. Now she has to delete products posts. If the Skin bleaching brand is the sponsor of the Miss Universe Nigeria, then she had no choice as a contestant but to post the pics. Weh, Chichi. is all this worth it mara?” Phil tweeted.
Chidimma is just young man, I think we should give her the grace to make these juvenile errors that she’ll one day learn from..
