Toya Delazy is one individual who has faced the wrath of the industry after she released My City featuring Cassper Nyovest in 2014. Taking to social media a few months ago, the Afro-fave and rap artist revealed that Cassper Nyovest snubbed her for a Fill-Up concert and the former was performing her song whilst she was in the country and not part of the Fill-Up lineup.

“Fill up they were singing my song at the stadiums, when we were available and int the country – that shot hurt my career a lot – as a youngling that shit broke me – took me years to recover. Actually, worst experience sadly, wish . wish i had a different story,” Toya Delazy said.

Recently, the My City hitmaker publicly criticized Cassper Nyovest, accusing him of unethical behaviour in the past. She expressed disappointment, stating that she no longer listens to her song due to the negative experiences she associated with it.

“Yeah, waste of a good song. I could have got Aka, but I was young and wasn’t thinking, should have followed Sonys direction with this one, my heart was too big, and I gave a chance to a vile person. But I’m glad you dig it,” she wrote.

Despite Toya’s outspoken remarks, Cassper Nyovest, now a devout Christian, has maintained silence and refrained from addressing the allegations levelled against him by his fellow rapper.
