Social workers qualified, needed but unemployed

Unemployed social workers in KwaZulu-Natal.

PIETERMARITZBURG – After protesting outside the Premier’s office in May, unemployed social workers are back picketing for jobs.

They’ve been sleeping outside the office since Monday trying to grab the attention of officials.

They are qualified and ready to work, and there’s no doubt that society needs them, but they are jobless.
