JOHANNESBURG – Gautrain is assuring its customers that operations are running smoothly despite strike action by the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa.

The commuter rail system says doors are still open for more negotiation talks with NUMSA.

The trade union is on Monday embarking on industrial action over wages and working conditions.
